Insert special character button on the WordPress visual editor toolbar

Click the omega Greek letter symbol on the second row of the toolbar to open up the special character chart menu. Here you’ll find everything from the copyright symbol “©” to letters commonly used in Spanish, German and other languages, such as “é”—allowing you to write Pokémon properly. The menu is in chart form and includes 200 commonly used characters, including alphabetic, mathematical, monetary and iconic symbols. To place a special character in your content, make sure the cursor is in the desired location, then click the symbol you want and—”Voilà!” the character appears in the editor.
