The Vashon Fire & Rescue website serves the residents of Washington State’s Vashon Island, a mainly residential community situated in Puget Sound between West Seattle, Tacoma, and the Kitsap Peninsula. The former fire chief at Vashon liked our work for Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority (one of the largest fire departments in the region) so he sought our help to replace an aging and expensive website. The website features a number of unique tools for educating visitors, such as our fire hazard meter, burn ban status banner, and incident reports. All of these features are part of AIM’s new venture dedicated to fire departments, which is called FDOne.
